All our website financial transactions are handled through our payment services provider, Sage Pay.

(b)    in order to establish, exercise or defend  the rights, property or safety of ourselves, our customers or others (including providing information to others for the purposes of fraud prevention and reducing credit risk);

(c)    in the event that we sell or buy any business or assets in which case we may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets;

(d)    If SkiA Designs Limited, or substantially all of its assets, is acquired by a third party, in which case personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets;

(e)    to any person who we reasonably believe may apply to a court or other competent authority for disclosure of that personal information where, in our reasonable opinion, such court or authority would be reasonably likely to order disclosure of that personal information.

We will not provide your information to third parties other than in accordance with the terms of this policy.

(6)    International data transfers

Information that we collect from you may be transferred to and stored at a destination outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”). It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or one of our suppliers. Such staff may be engaged in, amongst other things, the fulfilment of your order, the processing of your payment details and the provision of support services. 

In addition, personal information that you submit for publication on the website will be published on the internet and may be available, via the internet, around the world.  We cannot prevent the use or misuse of such information by others.

By submitting your personal data, you expressly agree to the transfer, storage and processing of personal information in this way.

We will take reasonable technical and organisational precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information.

We will store all the personal information you provide on our secure (password and firewall-protected) servers. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. Unfortunately, data transmission over the internet is not completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of data transmitted to our site. Any transmission is at your own risk. (a)    the payment of a fee (currently fixed at £10.00) to meet our costs in providing you with the details of the information we hold about you; and

(b)    the supply of appropriate evidence of your identity (for this purpose, we will usually accept a photocopy of your passport certified by a solicitor or bank plus an original copy of a utility bill showing your current address).

We may withhold such personal information to the extent permitted by law.

You have the right to instruct us not to process your personal information for marketing purposes by email at any time.  In practice, we will usually inform you (before collecting your data) if we intend to use your data for such purposes or if we intend to disclose your information to any third party for such purposes.
